The film industry is hot in Atlanta as the city has emerged as a major headquarters for many actors and filmmakers. The New York Film Academy thought it was time to pay another visit to the bustling capital of Georgia. We will be conducting Auditions and Information Sessions on Sunday, September 30th from 5pm-9pm. The auditions are for all of our Acting and Musical Theatre programs. Potential students will be considered for partial scholarship and grant opportunities, as well as placement.
Audition Requirements:
Acting: 2 contrasting contemporary monologues
Musical Theatre: 2 contrasting songs- Please bring a CD or Mp3 or music, and 1 contemporary monologue.
Anyone interested in Auditioning should go over the guidelines carefully.
The New York Film Academy will also be meeting potential students for all of our other programs, including FILMMAKING, PHOTOGRAPHY, PRODUCING, SCREENWRITING, CINEMATOGRAPHY, 3-D ANIMATION and VIDEO GAME DESIGN.
That’s not all. We will be attending the 2012 Performing and Visual Arts Fair on Monday, October 1st from 7PM-9PM at the Cobb County Center for the Excellence in the Performing Arts in Atlanta, GA.
